Does God Exist? The Watchmaker Analogy

The Bible tells us that God reveals himself in three primary ways. Creation, the Word, and the person and work of Jesus Christ. Today we are looking at a classic analogy that demonstrates how the creation reveals God. Then we are showing how this analogy supports the Bible's claims that God is creator.

We recognize a watch because we know and have a lot of information and examples of a watch here on Earth. We being non-"watchmakers" have access to data that we know and can safely say its designed and its purpose, no one disputes what a watch is and what it does. We compare with what we know. If we land on another planet in some other galaxy and saw some object that we're not familiar with we cannot really say if its natural or made? We could further explore the planet and stumble same or similar object we still don't have no way of knowing. We need more information, we need more testing, we need more exploration.

Also the watch really isn't "created" it is assembled into a final form/object and we call it watch, we gather materials and manipulate resources to create its parts and its put together. A watch consists of many parts from many inventions from inventors over time, from many resources that also require other technology to make several parts of a watch over time. The glass? how did that come to be? what technology and discovery of natural resource we needed to know to create the glass? what about the gears? the metal, the machinery to make the cuts? what about the plastic/leather strap? what about the tools that make these parts. you will find same for a Smartphone its got many parts, a building and a painting isn't as simple as what we say it is.
