The sad truth is most of the plastics you throw in the recycle are not recycled. They just get too much of it, and it's thrown away. I have tried to reduce my use of plastics. I take reusable bags to the grocery. I have researched and found some very nice solid bar shampoos and conditioners (no plastic jars needed). I use bar soap instead of bath gel. If we all do a little bit to reduce plastic use, we can have a big impact on plastic in the ocean.
