Thanks for watching, folks; at 05:16, I said Pixel is Green and S24 Exynos is Blue. The chart is correct; what I said is not. Pixel 9 is, in fact, blue, and the S24 Exynos is Green. I messed up the colors :)

Edit: Someone mentioned that at 08:30 Google Pixel goes to power saving mode. They are correct, but I did not notice them during the test. I checked the Pixel setting and it in fact does go to power saving mode under 20% by default which means the screen will run 60hz, and it connects to 4G instead of 5G. Snapdragon would still lose it but the gap would be smaller.

The "S24" on Exynos is a straight up scam and Samsung needs to be fined for this.

One of the only phone reviewers who test battery life thoroughly unlike most popular ones who just use words to describe battery life and not show anything,

I would just need this kind of test for Pixel 9 Pro vs Pixel 9. Youre doing the lords work man! THANK YOU!

This is the real battery comparison. Most youtubers doing comparison only using wifi, but these one is different. keep it up

If we strictly compare battery sizes and times: S24 SD having 4000mAh and P9 having 4700mAh, P9 is 17.5% larger, time S24 lasted 334min and P9 393min, so P9 lasting ~17.66% longer.

Seems like the Google fixed my main gripe with their phones, can't wait for the 9 Pro to release, by all metrics it will have even better battery life than normal 9 :D

it would be interesting to see the battery discharge ratio compared to the total mah, examples: 1% battery = 42mah

Absolutely in awe how much better the G4 is and it's not even TSMC yet. Not having a vapor chamber and still staying a similar temp to the S24 was wild. Very hopeful about the Pixel 9 Pro (Non-XL)

never expected Pixel 9 to do this well!

Would be cool if you could repeat the test when One UI 7 is available because it promises to extend battery life.

One of the biggest chip manufacturer cant figure a truly competitive flaship chip after billions in R&D is insane!

What the hell is wrong with your s24 exynos dude? mine always outputs 6-7 hour SOT on mixed wifi/4g scenario. I had two pixels before (6 and 7), none of them lasted more than 5 hours. Try another s24 exynos unit maybe? i can believe exynos 2400 performs worse than sd gen 3, but not the tensor. Something is off here 100%.

As a Samsung Galaxy S24 (Exynos) owner, I would like to point out some drawbacks: the battery drains quickly / when using the phone outdoors in sunny weather, you increase the screen brightness, but it starts to overheat, and after a few minutes, the phone automatically lowers the brightness, making it inconvenient to use / the phone heats up if you play for a long time, and again, the phone automatically lowers the screen brightness.

Someone on reddit pointed out that P9 hit power saving mode at 20% @8:39 which is true as you can see the battery saving mode when it ticks under 20%. You might need to do another test to verify p9 again.

Noticed at 8:47 the Pixel seamlessly transitions from 5G to 4G after the 20% mark to save on battery which means the CPU is being throttled down. I'd say Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Galaxy S24 wins this test based on consistency alone it was the only phone that maintained a constant 5G+ signal. throughout.

Only tsmc processors are good.. snapdragon 888, gen1 made by Samsung has serious thermals and battery drain.. be careful when snapdragon used😂
