Problems Adapting thunderbolt 1 and 2 to 3, 4 and 5? You need power to make it work!

Adapting thunderbolt 1 and 2 to 3, 4 and 5 needs power to work. Thunderbolt 1 and 2 work the same way. And both supply no Power. The thunderbolt 3 and 4 supply 100w and many devises rely on that power to work. Thats why a simple adapter will not work. The adaption needs power to work. A dockingstation will work. do I have to use a thunderbolt dock or is there a cable that can work well since the monitor has its own power supply

Hello, quick question with this dock. I have the 2020 intel MBP 13” with two thunderbolt-3 connections, and my SSD is getting a read/write of 2, 500/2, 700 (SanDisk Professional ProG40), with this dock will I lose that speed?
