So you connected the external case (with an SSD?) to the Thunderbolt 3 dock, and the Thunderbolt 3 dock to the computer using both its USB 3 cable for power and the USB-C to Thunderbolt 2 adaptor plus the Thunderbolt 2 cable for the signal. Could you confirm I got it right?

Hi! great video!.. I do have an old MacBook air 2013.. and i do have a dell docking station that connects using a male USB-C cable... this doc has 2 monitors, mouse, keyboard, etc... I am not finding an adaptor to use this doc with my Mac... Any ideas?

If the ssd you sho in the video is the Nvoy Express, you can also remove the cable opening the case and plugging the other cable you showed in the internal port. But maybe it doesn’t work cause it wouldn’t be powered, right?

I have a mid 2015 macbook pro. I bought an adapter like this, to be able to plug the macbook pro to a HopDay Thunderbolt 3 DockStation. But after pluging the cables to the DockStation, I get no connection. I´m preetty sure this worked before. Any tips? Thank you!

Im trying to use my 2012 iMac as a monitor for my 2024 MacBook Pro. Wondering if you happen to know how to do this for certain as Ive been told many different things and have yet to find the right set up.
