You might think changing things is difficult, but just small tweaks can do wonders for your skin.
Remember to consume plenty of water. Have a 1L bottle nearby and strive to complete it. Once it's done, top up it and consume another liter. If you can handle more, that's great!
If your skin is extremely dry or oily, try using litlextra riceeberry face wash. Once or twice daily should be sufficient. It has water from black rice which gives good glow to skin.
Don't overlook to moisturize before going to bed, according to what works best for your skin.
Attempt to squeeze in some exercise, even if it's just a quick 10-15 minutes. If you're busy working, walk briskly to the bus stop and back. If you can, utilize a treadmill. Afterward, rehydrate, freshen up, have breakfast, and start your day.
It's important to remain happy and eat well. Opt for foods like daals, spinach, carrot and orange juice, and yogurt. These are everyday foods that can help you feel amazing. And don't worry if you feel dull during bad weather - it occurs to everyone.

I used to use the clean & clear blotting papers, but I went through so many I was getting annoyed with spending $ on a product that I used up so quickly. I got the idea of cutting squares out of tissue paper and keeping them in a little organza pouch. It's awaaaay cheaper and just as effective.

Thank you so much for this video. In my teen and early 20s my skin was so oily and had lot of breakouts. Now in my 40s it’s the best skin I’ve had. CeraVe is my choice of face products. Now I can help my daughter who is pre teen and has oily skin too.

I use adapalene and benzoyl peroxide gels. I live in a tropical country (PH) and here in our area it is very warm and humid. I still have oily skin but these are my daily lifesaver that made my acne vanish!

Great video. For future videos you might want to mention hat benzoyl peroxide will stain any fabrics like wash cloths, towels, bedsheets, etc... that it comes in contact with. People using benzoyl peroxide should use white wash cloths and white towels to avoid staining colored wash cloths and towels.

Hi Dr Sam! I discovered your channel recently and love how informative your vids are, thanks so much! I see you've recommended BHA and Adapalene here as good ingredients for oily skin, I was wondering if you might make a vid on Azelaid Acid some time? Thanks!

I have used Paula's Choice BHA's for 20 years, I use the Extra Strength CLEAR. I use cheaper vitamin C's. I really also have liked for years Paula's Choice RESIST Extra light Sunscreen - I find octinoxate breaks me out so I have not tried too many chemical sunscreens that are popular. But I have ventured into the Asian sunscreens and they are great. At 55 I still break out so I do use Rx tret along with clindamycin and spironolactone. Finally, I frequently wash my pillowcases and my makeup brushes.

I used the Paula's Choice Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant for months about two years ago but I couldn’t get past that it felt like it wouldn’t absorb and it would just sit on my face. It was so frustrating to go to sleep like that because my face felt sticky and weird. I wonder why I was having this issue when clearly this product is so popular?

Also, those oils absorbing sheets are STILL a must-have for me (and yes I’m a millennial lol)! As a matter of fact, a good friend from high school saw me using them recently and couldn’t believe that I still used them. 😂

Very helpful and informative. I’m wondering if you have recommendations for non-comedogenic foundation?

Clean and Clear blotting papers are amazing. I still use them too. Better than Tatcha or Fenty! ❤❤❤

I am one oily girl that doesn't like the Paula's Choice or Differin. Neither did anything for me. Actually after applying either of them, my pores/blackheads looked ven more noticeable 😩

Great recommendations, thank you! A also great and cheaper alternative to the Silymarin CF is the Vitamin C Super Serum Plus from Naturium, it also contains niacinamide and a small amount of salicylic acid.

Dear Dr. Sam, could you please address dry skin issues for mature women who use Retinol PM, vitamin C AM together with sunscreen and experience dry skin - face and neck. Could you also recommend some products for sensitive dry skin issues including eye care. Thank you!
