I was going along minding my buisness when culture around me decided to loose its mind and the theology and teachings of Doug and James White, Durbin etc. Calmed me down and helped me understand what's going on and what to do about it. So to say they are the ones freaking everyone out is a bit untruthful.

I, along with many others not only agree with and understand Wilson on many particular points, but can answer the question as Doug would before Gordon even finishes speaking. Conversations like this are helpful in fleshing out the issues, but there comes a time when you need to stop blaming others for your own lack of comprehension.

I'm amazed how gracious and patient Doug and Jared are in this interview. Especially for two men who have endured so much ridicule for the name of Christ to be lectured by a man who seems so reluctant for Christians to speak to culture in any meaningful way.

Over and over, the host asks a question, gets clarification, agrees, and then says "that's not what I'm reading". It seems he has a reading problem.

The fruit from Doug’s ministry in my family and my local church has not been irate young men on Twitter.
It’s been:
- fathers reclaiming their roles as heads/patriarchs of their homes
- family worship being practiced
- children removed from public schools and being given a godly education
- psalm singing
- women mentoring other women in the domestic arts and in biblical submission
- understanding what time it is and what God has called us to as his people

CNs on Twitter shooting off the hip is not Doug’s legacy. A recovery of all of Christ for all of life is.

I am blown away by some of the statements of the host. I have been listening to Doug Wilson since I was a late teen/early 20’s. I’ve found him to be extremely calming for Christians in this tumultuous time, and not at all worrisome. I just can’t believe the broad brush the host is painting with, and not acknowledging the thousands including myself and my wife, who have immensely benefitted from Wilson to be better husbands, fathers, wives, mothers, and most importantly to have a love and zeal for Christ. It’s just a shame to see the host paint with such a broad brush as if Wilson has had a mostly negative influence on the Church.

One of the difficulties with the Host & many opponents of DW & Moscow, is they want so bad for their assumptions to be true, it hinders their ability to understand & give charity when truth is revealed - they just want so badly to believe what they believe, so many people commenting are saying the same thing “how can you misunderstand DW?” He’s clarified himself so many times, you either choose to believe it & stop the name calling, or you choose not to believe the clarification & stay bitter.
