The media cannot give you the exact description but on another video from CBS New York the police chief certainly did. I'm noticing this quite a bit on these news channels. I think reporters are prohibited on giving that type of info.

In the moments before he was shot you have to wonder if he had a chance to protect himself like he would have had had he been in Texas and not in a N.Y. gun free zone. It's a certainty that the law abiding will always be less safe in such areas.
