Had a felony warranty out for his arrest for assaulting a 67 year old female and broke her orbital bone, in the SUBWAY. He should’ve been in jail serving time, if anyone is to blame here is the DA/judge that released him after his assault.

Victims from the first 40+ arrests were probably also asking for justice

We need more real men like this marine in the world. Protect the weak.

I'm from NYC! We are getting fed up with all these maniacs on the train and in the city! That man was a true NY hero in my opinion! They should rename that train station in honor of him helping out fellow nyers and probably saving someones life and safety!

You know who deserves "justice"? How about law-abiding people who just want to live their lives with having their consciences, senses, and bodies brutalized by animals like that on a daily basis?

No good deed goes unpunished. It took a Marine to do what the justice system should have done a long time ago. His 48th crime was his last.

It’s sad when you live in a world if you do something you get blame and if you don’t do something you get blame .

These same people probably saw him homeless in the street and did not offer him room on their couch. He was assaulting people on the train, and died. Now they care so much?

when you’re mother or wife is on the train and a person comes up to them starts harassing them you would only hope there’s a person like this marine would come to their rescue .

40 prior arrests but he wasn’t in jail…yeah let’s keep blaming everyone else.

The Marine should get a medal. Thank you for your continued service.

New York, where criminals have more rights than law abiding citizens.

42 prior arrests, four of which were for alleged assault, the guy made threats of violence to harm other commuters on the subway and- what- I'm supposed to feel sorry for him? Smh.

As a Blackman, I would like to personally congratulate and thank the Marine and the two other individuals that stepped up to address this threat. The fact we are not talking about the two other men that participated in this restraint is indicative of racial baiting that I refuse to be apart of. I do not make decisions based on the color of one’s skin but rather the content of one’s character, and the context of the situation at hand. It saddens me that this mentally deranged man lost his life in this situation and that the state refuses to care for those amongst us that truly need help, and what’s worse than that is this neglect only helps to hurt the greater populace, which is why these situations continue to occur with greater frequency. This small pitiful group of “protesters “ in no way represents anyone’s views but their own, to suggest otherwise is racist by definition.

I swear sometimes i feel like i live in the twilight zone. People are acting like Jordan Neely was some sort of angel, this guy had 42 prior arrest and had an active warrant out for his arrest for assaulting a 67 year old woman.

What sucks is that this brave Marine will probably loose his job, can someone start a gofundme account for this man . There is no reason why he should be punished for what he did.

This person spent approximately the last 8 years on the F train assaulting, screaming slurs, taunting, and terrorizing other passengers all while being arrested 42 times. Yes, Fourty-two!

It had nothing to do with him being BLACK..another black man was holding him down assisting the ex Marine that day..these people are insufferable. 😤

Last year a young woman was assaulted on the train while men just sat there and did nothing but get it on their phone. They said they didn’t want to be accused of toxic masculinity or racism so the victim was harassed and hurt. I thought it was cowardly at the time, but apparently standing up for someone in need is considered criminal in this upside down society

Remember "Defund the Police" and "Community Policing"? Well, this is what that looks like.
And Neely wasn't "murdered". He was making threats. Thank you to this Marine for keeping everyone in the subway car safe!
