I agree! Polygyny is a hard pill to swallow for a woman. Because women are emotional and consider polygyny similar to polyamory. Nonetheless they cannot reject the ayah of quran and the permissibility of polygyny.

If women are being rationale and understand men are naturally polygynous, it can work out.

Trying to keep the jelousy aside, loving the co wives as sisters, and respecting the husband, it can work out. But unfortunately, women start resenting their husbands
