ONDC is taking over Ola, Uber 😮😮

Namma Yatri was the first app launched under ONDC for cab-hailing. It was launched in Karnataka cities like Bengaluru and Mysuru, and it has been a big success.

The app is touching 1 lakh daily rides and the drivers are earning 1 crore Rs every single day through the app.

And now, more states are getting their own apps, Kerala has Yatri App, West Bengal has Yatri Sathi, both of which had a successful beta launch and will be now fully launched to the public.

And seeing their success, more state governments across India will be adopting this model.

High time Namma Yatri type of apps come up in other states. Observed cab/rick drivers in Chennai or Delhi cancel the rides and ask us to show the location on map and pay them directly. Yes, it is a safety concern in some way but they are just fed up of paying high commission to someone like Ola/Uber. A subscription model and a fixed charge per ride works out better for them and also for the users.

Since Namma yatri is not owned by a company, cancellations, issue with the ride or driver, and other issues are not addressed by any customer care. Uber is better

Namma Yatri is a good initiative, but there are many bugs which need to be taken up and today i couldn't even login in a very tight situation
So again had to go to the usual Uber Ola

I have been using namma yatri in Blore. The fares are lower and I usually get an auto faster on namma yatri. Definitely a good initiative. And the drivers dont ask me to canvel my bookimhs if I use the UPI option.

Apart from yatri there was also pathadisha for kolkata which shows the exact postion of bus system.. Not sure if it's still there but was pf great help

Yatri saathi in kolkata charges similar or sometimes more then uber and Ola.. so the benefits of ONDC is yet to be seen. Indrive is amongst the cheapest aggregator.

I stay in bangalore, and use only namma yatri in bangalore. Still now no cancelation, which is common with Uber and ola. The drivers are happy because no commission

In Bengaluru, namma yatri is useless. We don't get any autos in Namma Yatri app even though the prices are higher than uber auto and full 100% goes to the driver.

In Bengaluru autos formed a cartel and started demanding high prices.

Recently i had to travel from my work place to service centre to pick up my two wheeler and the auto guys demanded 100 Rs for just 1.4 Kms. WTF??
100 Rs guys for 1.4 kms.
I paid only 35 Rs in the same morning peak hour in Uber while dropping my two wheeler in service centre.

I would highly encourage government to Ban Autos from Karnataka. No Auto drivers follow traffic rules and they act like Goondas.
