I dropped out of high school to work and take care of my mom who was battling cancer and take care of my 3 younger siblings. At the age of 21 I started studying to get my GED got in an accident and my memory was affected had to learn my ABC's and all. Fast forward 2 years later I'm still struggling to get my GED but this helps, so thank you🙏

I’m 18 years old and ever since the whole pandemic started my grades just went down tremendously to the point where I might graduate till I’m like 19 years old or older. So I think getting my GED would be a better option Update: I managed to get my diploma

(disclaimer: GOT GET YOUR GED ITS SO DARN EASY GO DO IT YOU WILL BE PROUD OF YOURSELF!) I also got my GED IN A week. I was 21 when I got my GED they tried to make me study 1 to 2 weeks per test. Well I told them I wanted to pay for each test see how to do and then reevaluate if I needed to study if I ended up not passing any. Well I took all the first text through out the week. Ended up passing every single one. I was so proud of myself I literally cried the whole next week.

Yesterday i passed the social studies test.. i still got 3 exams to go

Edit: guys i worked almost 2 months for it. I took 3 practice test first and i passed all of them first one 145 second 157 third one 156. Then i went to test and i focused in the test and i passed. It's enough to focus and you will pass. I mean understand the questions and answer then. I took 152 on the test. As if the test understands that you worked hard so it makes you pass. I wasn't sure that I'm gonna pass but i did. !!

Edit: I passed the whole GED and took my diploma

I'm 18 years old, going on 19 in July. I dropped out 11th year of high school and I would say it was my biggest regret, but a blessing in disguise. At first, I was at home; just a stuck moment. My father would get on my ass for my decision and I would have to hide from a family member that I dropped out because they are very judgemental. I decided to get my shit together and apply to a GED program here in NYC and it’s been great. The teachers are the most amazing people ever and I feel confident that I'll pass, so I'll come for an update.

Currently on my GED journey. Just passed the Language Arts test next is Social Studies. I'm getting my GED through the nearest community college I live by and It's been a great program. Going through the community college I live by It's a free program you go into get signed up and start with tests to see where your education level is. At some point after that you'll take your practice tests and the program I'm with gives you a code for free practice tests then on the real test they offer $10 off code.

I'm 25 and just got mine i kept putting it off thinking I would never pass and when I was young you couldn't tell my a damn thing thought me working at the time was it thought I would never need a education im so glad I got mine now im a union iron worker never give up

I’m 16 and just passed my ged exam on my first try. 148 in ELA (I skipped the essay), 152 in math, 167 in science, and 157 in social studies.
