I have chicken pox but calamine lotion has to be applied like every 20 minutes! It’s horrible but it feels nice as soon as it goes on irritating spots also I recommend uncooked oat or baking soda baths x

I remember my grandpa freaked out when me n some other kids got chicken pox. He thought it was smallpox. Later, he showed me his smallpox vaccination scar. Such a nasty business.

i have it rn and its gotten so much worse (not sure i think 3-4th today) and i cant sleep due to the fact its really disturbing and as if like i can feel every blister on my body and face, its freaking me out because i value my skin a lot, i refuse to look in mirrors now or wanna do anything to see my skin so i have the lights off. this is the worst

During chicken pox i had severe itching in my back so i used banana leaf to sleep that is very very very helpful for me

I am suffering from chickenpox right now and I can't stop itching it is starting to get big and itchy the blisters and my scalp are hurting I can barely sleep it's all over me and my siblings and we are still young only and my older sister are suffering from it my whole body is hurting and itching I put cream on it and it still burns it's my 4 or 5 day with chicken pox it is about to pop and hurts it burns I try not to scratch it although I keep scratching it hurts nearly all of them are fluid-filled ouch it hurts I can't stop itching it I honestly don't eat well and I'm really tired I threw up twice and I tired of the chicken pox it hurts I don't sleep well and I feel so sick I can't do it it's like every second I keep getting one itching oww it hurts my throat is sore

Hello! I'm just really concern about myself because of my classmate who have it for almost 3-4 weeks. He took a sip on my coffee drink yesterday, and I'm scared if he is still contagious even tho he had it for a long time?

Don't use calamine lotion 🧴 because that can cause more irritation and itchy Ness to the skin instead use any sort of other lotion like E45 or Aveeno. Piriton helps a lot so I do recommend

Will chicken pox just go away if you don’t scratch it and just leave it alone for all of the stages?

When i was 13-ish, i got BOTH measles and chicken pox at the same time. (I got meales first then, chicken pox). Basically god decided to shit on me for no absolutely no reason. When i measles, i had it for 3 weeks, i think with the third week was when chicken pox started to develop. I was really happy that measles was over and i could go to school again, and have fun with friends again. Then chicken pox struck. I made the bad mistake of actually itching them off ALOT. Yea so that was a mistake and now i have aload of scars. The reason why i itched them off, was because i didnt get the fact that it would ruin my body for the rest of my life. My 13 year-old brain couldnt process the fact that god decided to perform a combo on me. Now, my body looks like a knock off version of spongebob but with an leg extension and a serious case of uranium poisioning. 🙃
