A Simple and Easy Way To Fix Cracks in External Walls - Plastered, Rendered, Brick and Stone.

A long time ago a Painter told me this trick to repair (or probably more aptly, disguise) cracks in external walls. Simply mix something that's similar in colour to some window putty, push it in, and brush the excess off. It works for Rendered/Plastered walls and for Brick and Stone Walls. I don't think it would work for dark slate walls, but who knows. Good luck and I hope this video helps.

The oils from the putty will be absorbed by the render/cement & then will just fall out.

You are not fixing the crack. You are just filling it with putty!
