I lost my dad suddenly in 2015. I miss him so much still! I wish it wasn't so painful but every year around this time I struggle to cope. He was a single dad for a lot of my early childhood. He sacrificed so much for me and I never got to thank him or say goodbye but this song makes me feel like I can in some strange way. It's sung so beautifully, it's an amazing song.

Lost my dad at 17 he was 37 and that was 13 years ago, I didn’t get to spend a lot of time with him but enough to miss him everyday especially as I get older and have two kids of my own. Love you dad I’ll be right there with you and Jesus one day I’ll make sure of it.

Been reading all the lovley comments from sons and duaghters who loved their daddy. I have to play this once a month just to release the love for my father. Wow he was a great man like all your fathers were. But i want to share this. My father sadly passed away in hospital with me and my sister it was the most serial feeling. I told him dad, you can go now its ok, then he stoped breathing, we were thanking him for everthing he had showed us. His heart stopped, he then opened his eyes looked for me found my eyes, they said good by then they closed. It was heavenly and special. I type this with streams of tiers. Its still so strong the bond we had and always will be until its my time.

Respect to all these comments and transparencey.

Life must go on for our children now.

I lost my old man 10 years ago today. I was 22 he was 48, I’m 32 today. And it hurts to think how young he really was. And there’s not a day I don’t think of him. He taught me everything he could, before he past, we lived in two different countries the last couple of years he lived. So I didn’t get to see him much. The night before he past, I got to hear him say he loved me for the first time. I am who I am today because of him. He made me the man I am today.
