I live in Chicago, my dad lived in Monterrey México, I could only see him one week a year...

He peacefully passed this Thursday, at 82 years old ... I was able to fly in Saturday night, cremation was Sunday night, the mass was today - Monday. Glad I was able to call him just this last Sunday.

My youngest brother deeply admired both of you and Mr. James Blunt. Thank you for this song—it meant so much to him. He dedicated it to my dad while he was hospitalized with stage 4 colon cancer. Sadly, my brother passed away in October 2024 due to a stroke, and just 10 days later, my dad joined him in heaven.
