The Flash was already awful as is, but when it got to that scene and all the "visions" I couldn't believe how bad it looked. This was genuinely some of the worst CGI I have seen in recent years, you would need to have zero concept of what CGI is to think this was actually Nicolas Cage

Bringing back Michael Keaton as Batman seemed like an awesome thing to do for the fan base but by killing him off it came off as if DC were just setting us up to kick us in the nuts instead.

Word of mouth about Keaton's Batman dying must have played a huge part in the box office failure.

I saw an interview with Michael Shannon here on YouTube... one of those Vanity Fair things where they discuss all their roles. He was asked to come back to play Zod... and he said to his agent... "Did they watch Man of Steel... because Zod dies at the end"... he was told about the multi-verse thing which he didn't understand at all... but he wouldn't take the role without calling Snyder first and asking for his blessing... because he thought it was weird. What a legend

The Crispin Glover situation in BTTF set some rules and boundaries regarding use of archive footage. Same needs to be applied to CGI likeness.
