Thanks for the tips. I will say thou.. don’t get rid of those crop tops just yet if you plan on breastfeeding your baby. They definitely come in clutch. I’m a first time mom and before baby I honestly didn’t wear them.. but after baby.. they are essential. ❤

I had such a hard time getting rid of clothing items before I got pregnant due to the “what if” scenarios in my head. The moment I realized I was pregnant, I got rid of everything I was previously holding onto but knew I should get rid of. I was brutal and enjoyed it! 😂

I love this! My major struggle is personalized clothes like family reunion tshirts or shirts from specific events 🤦🏽‍♀️

You’re looking especially radiant. Motherhood really changes your closet and prospective on clothes. I’m having an incredibly difficult time letting go of strangely some nice sports bras that I wore before two kids and 4 years of nursing. They don’t fit the same and I don’t fill them out at all so they aren’t supportive. You have encouraged me to finally get rid of them. Great video.

Thank you. I really needed this. I have to let go of clothes from 9 years ago. I was a size 4/6. 3 kids and 9 years later, I need to let go. When I do reach my weight goal, I can reward myself with new clothes.

All those tips are always checked off in my book ✔️😉
But I will be removing some items from my wardrobe as soon as we move!

I feel seen!!!! I have workout leggings with the mesh behind the knee and they are so annoying that I never wear them. This is definitely a sign for me to let them go.

Your methods are so helpful and encouraging. I’ve been struggling with decluttering specifically when I have a good storage method going and it seems easier to leave those items organized instead of going through them. I think it’s time to revisit those spaces as I clearly like the order more than the items themselves.

Watching you go thru your jeans, I'm reassured that decluttering and/or purging is an emotional progress. I'm happy to say that I was able to reorganize my closet according to Spring/Summer and Fall/ Winter seasons. I am now intentional with what new pieces I want to add going forward.

Something I've been using to get past the "can't throw it out" hurdle is to let myself use auxiliary storage to stash whatever I want for as long as I need to (totes, blanket chest, trunks, etc) Once my sentimentality stops trying to rationalize on behalf of clothes just so I can "rescue" them, it suddenly gets REALLY easy to filter those pieces out. This also goes well with the tip about damaged clothing tip because they can all go in the same container. So it's win win win! Organized space for the clothes you wear! Then you can get at the rest more easily and either keep thinning them out or discover that you have space to store them after all.
