Me personally I love that scene cause Aragorn is so thankful he just hugs haldir with joy and at first haldir seems hesitant but then he hugs Aragorn too. And you can see in his face he hasn’t been hugged in a while 🥹

He needed that hug so much. I think that elves are just too emotionless and it's sad. And that's why I love this scene and that scenes where Legolas is smiling 😂❤❤

The hugs scene cracks me up so much because elves don't hug each other. Hugging and physical contact was seen as something only to be shared between a married couple sometimes not even. The fact that Aragorn runs around middle-earth hugging elves like a middle aged dad is just hilarious 🤣
