Actually, I learned English doing this. I watched the twilight movies so many times when I was younger that I know it by heart, then I tried to switch languages and noticed I could understand some things, and here I am. So, it works

This is what I was looking for. English is my native language and I’m trying to learn German because my grandma and great grandma are German and my mom know to some German too she just don’t know how to speak the language fluently. None of my family members tried to teach me to speak German so o did it myself. I’m using the app Duolingo and it’s actually helping me a lot and watching that helped me understand what he was saying. ✨thanks for taking your time to read this✨

It would be nice if you also placed on top of every german word the english translation of it, when in a sentece. Like "Wir haben doch jetzt so viel" will be something like " We | have | yet | now | so | much", so people kinda get a sense of how germans are using their language
