How to edit YouTube videos after upload

YouTube Studio has an editor that allows you to edit videos after upload and after publishing.
You can trim any part of the video. You can start the video later, end it earlier, split the video at any point and trim out any section.
You can do this if you have any copyright-related issue, music copyright or if you simply decide to take a section of the video out.

The great thing about this option is you can edit videos after upload without having to remove them from YouTube.

You can also revert back to the original version. It will take some time for the edited version to be served on YouTube.

But it sounds like there is no way to insert a clip into a video, right? For instance, in the middle of my video, I had a card with the date, 2012, when it should really be 2004. Is there a way, after removing the section with the wrong card, to then insert a clip with the correct card? Fred : )

What if mine doesn't look anything like yours? I do not see the TRIM or the number values to the left of that? Do I have to remove the end screens already there to see the trim video feature? I clicked on video icon to see if TRIM would appear. Nope. It doesn't. I am on a Mac. Does that make a difference? It shouldn't, I am thinking. I edit in Final Cut all the time so I am puzzled. Please help.

Ok, I had to cut out the end screens all together to edit the video. Then TRIM and CUT was at the top right. But I found your video very very helpful as I didn't know where to even begin without instructions in here, so thanks!
