Nice tutorial, wish it would also cover swimming, that's something is hard to find unlike basic character controllers.

This controller ends up giving really bad foot position when you're on a slope or ledge. There is a cheap asset called iStep that applies inverse kinematics to make them much more natural looking. I'm not affiliated, I just have it in my notes for if I ever use this controller.

I'm still struggling to create a third person controller that works across a network.
Just can't seem to get the referencing correct and switch cameras from fpc to tpc without causing error .

Thanx for this! As a beginner I wish these videos went a little bit more in depth on how you modify these starter assets. I was looking at this third person controller but I need maybe only 20 percent of all functionality it offers and as a beginner it is hard to know what I can and cant remove when modifying these assets. I think it would be easier to make a top down controller from scratch than try and get this to work. What are the odds you remove something and break the entire thing?
