You’re telling me I don’t have to watch an hour’s worth of tutorials and place objects that are later claimed to be “the wrong way to do things” by the person posting the tutorial??? You’re crazy!

There are a few reasons why i don't like this or the new input system. 1) trying to set in a multiplayer to spawn the camera and find just your character is one issue, along with the ability to allow ti to stroll into and out of third and first person or not pass through other colliders and still does not have options for holding down a button to use look and having to constantly fight with using the escape key and that old drifting issue. The character controller is also frustrating to use in custom scenes much less prevent it from snapping back and looking at the player instead of allowing a camera pivot when button is down to rotate and look around the player. The reason you want to be able to spawn the camera to find the correct player character in a scene is so when changing scenes you are not having a camera being cloned repeatedly cashing the engine and making the game unplayable. Now if a tutorial would actually account for all this that would be helpful. Its also a pain to apply to something like a character selection option tied to a registration and authentication system.

Hi, so I followed this tutorial. I am making a simple game using a rolling ball as it's player. The problem I am having is that yes it follows the ball but also looks at the rotation, meaning if the ball rotates or rolls, the camera also rotates. It looks like as if the world is spinning instead of the ball alone.
