What are the three dot things on your face before they were cut? are they balloons? I’ve had bilateral jaw replacements due to excessive basically melting of the jaw bone due to my arthritis and I got the surgery at 12 but ended up with a feeding tube and I’ll for a few months

I have atrophy on one side of my face as well, but I went/am going with implant and fat transfer to fix it. And with the implant (cheekbone and jawline), facial recognition works just the same.
I'm curious what kind of surgery would change the landmarks so much that it can no longer recognise the person... Maybe a surgery to lift the corners of the eyes?

i’m not trying to be rude… just asking out of concern… what happened… is it genetic or something happened….
i suffer from extreme acne flares… really huge bumps.. sometimes size of grapes(not all but some)…. and i understand how much painful it is to face them… emotional pain is more painful than physical pain… so i know upto a level what is it like to face these issues…
so i’m just asking you out of curiosity
