because its not 100% accurate. If someones face changes or they have a twin, or even someone who looks enough like them it could get it wrong. It would require EVERY person in the country to have their face in a government database and be updated regularly. Would you really want the government keeping a constant record of your physical identity like that?

Personally the idea scares me. I have never used the facial recognition in my phones. Don't know why so don't ask. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I never use biometrics for phone unlock, cops can search your crap by pointing your locked phone at your face or using your thumb to unlock the phone. Fukk that
