The mask needs to have eyes in order to work, if you have your eyes closed, it doesn’t work.

Face ID is pretty amazing technology. I have been through lots of phones and different unlocking methods and the iPhone X is impressive. After you use it for a bit it is hard to disagree that it’s the best all around phone right now.
