8900 will be out later, probably at the same time as a workstation card or CDNA product.
They probably limit the launch range of GFX cards so they can do better testing and focus on supplying the PS5 without shortages or failures. They may also be testing the market to see if they can squeeze by with 16GB of vRAM with people complaining.
