AMD is Sandbagging - RDNA 5 Specs & Release Date
A recent interview with AMD showed that they will be deprioritizing flagship GPUs and focusing on market share as well as unifying their architecture into something called UDNA. However its possible that this strategy may only be temporary as leaks are suggesting that RDNA 5 may be the largest leap in GPU history thanks to the new chiplet design and could be a Ryzen moment for Radeon leading to MUCH better prices and performance.

give us 4080 performance for 500$ and everyone is happy

3.2X the performance of the 7900XTX is a pipe dream. I'll be amazed if they even get 2X!

tomorrow his video title will be '5090 DESTROYS AMD FOR GOOD'

RDNA is like the Cowboys of the NFL. Every year is our year 😂.

Even if they don't beat the 5090, it's safe to assume it'll be better in the performance per $ department

I run a 7900XTX myself, but this happens almost every generation, AMD hype comes out, people speculate and ultimately, everyone is disappointed.
Nvidia retains the crown or gets it back pretty quick.

Vega64 hype anyone?

I really don't think AMD NEEDS a super high end either.
What I would really like to have is a Ray Accelerator card that is vendor agnostic.
Kinda like the old Aegis PhysX add in cards.
I'd pay 200-350$ for a second card that was dedicated to ray tracing.

nVidia also once said their new GPU's were going to be 3x faster than the previous Gen.

Boy was it a big fat lie.

Nvidia fanboys in the comments are being so insecure, guys, no one cares that amd can't touch the 4090, the 4090 is the price of an entire good PC in it if it's self, of course it's crazy powerful, people are fine that it's not being beaten soon.

This joker is at it again. We're going to get a 300% performance improvement, then we get the reality of 15%. People believe everything random YouTubers publish. Most are clueless though.

AMD should go all out with RDNA 5. Just create the biggest and most powerful GPU they possibly can. If AMD can get MCM done right, it could massively pay off.

remember lads, one day, we will see low end apus for portable pc with 150 tf and think the performance is crap

Good to have hope, is there any chance that's gonna be real? Not even ZERO

I wish they had a secret weapon on their hands. I want something in the high-end to replace my XTX

We don't know how rdna4 will preform, and then there is this guy and his 9950xt

These are probably their AI and Render farm cards. Those are less sensitive to inter chip latencies. The old micro stutter/jitter of sli/crossfire is an example of this. Yet if you sli a couple cards for a render or ai things work fine and go faster.

There is absolutely nothing in the Tom's Hardware article that says that AMD is moving out of the gaming market.

I have been saying that AMD is sandbagging. It is a great business strategy IF you are willing to take some heat in the short term.
