I fast most days I don’t feel hungry until later in the afternoon. if I do get hungry I make myself a bullet proof coffee and that fills me up. I have my main meal at about 5/6pm. I might have something before I go to bed if I feel hungry for example some cold meat or boiled egg . I do have a problem craving carbs sometimes. If that happens I indulge myself and have some dark chocolate and a few nuts which usually does the trick. I’ve even got my husband fasting now and we both feel better for it. We are both seventy. I wish I had known about fasting when I was younger!!

Intermittent fasting is the only ‘diet’ I’ve been able to easily stick to. I fast for 16 hours a day except special occasions. First couple days were shaky because I was hypoglycemic, but my sugars/insulin normalized, no more feeling hangry! After 4 months I feel so much better, energy up, more focused, and I’ve lost 15 pounds. It works, spread the word!

been OMAD 3 months and I love it! getting nothing but healthier! I've also started breathing only through my nose. use a small tape to keep my mouth shot at night! OMG what a life changer! My husband no longer snores and we wake up refreshed with lots of energy!

Thanks for posting this interview. Always a pleasure learning from Dr. Fung. I'm 59 and started following his channel almost two years ago. I've lost over 150 lbs and I'm maintaining it well. I'm off my blood pressure meds, my osteoarthritis pain is so much better and my asthma is gone. I've reversed all my medical conditions! I've dieted and yoy'od my whole life until this. Fasting is just so different and now I know why. His book The Obesity Code explains everything. Learning to fast changed my life!

I'm doing a IF of 20 hrs a day and I feel great and full of energy. For me, as a compulsive eater, thats the only way I found to be able to stick to a weight loss program, i'm doing mainly for my health improvement and having weight loss as one of the benefits is just perfect!

fasting only thing that has worked for me . Gone from 255 lb may 08 now oct 15 lm down to 179. Feel Great . it make total sense to use stored fat.

This is quite amazing way of life style, I am so happy that I can across this advice and dr Fung is a blessing, been on my guard most of my life as we suffer obesity in our family. Now I follow this advice and feel amazing Energised and no more snacking junk food and sweets . I still have a hard time rapping my mind around the fat intake ….. I grew up as fat was demonised and now I enjoy butter, cream and food that’s low in sugar 😊

When i was a kid we were not allowed to snack, if we wanted something we were offered fruit, if we did not want fruit then we were not hungry...

My skin looking so much better my craving are gone I have tons of energy thank you so much may God bless you all for the this amazing info I’m 44 I was struggling a lot from my sugar cravings i was going nuts I couldn’t. Keep my weight off now I’m able too All thanks 🙏 to my God and u guys too ❤

I also noticed i don’t even have to used filters when I take a picture is crazy my face looks smooth and glowing

I fast every other day. the days I fast I break my fast with a few slices of watermelon and two slices of whole wheat bread with natural peanut butter when I get home from work. the next day I have a fruit and vegetable smoothie made with a banana strawberries blueberries raspberries walnuts raw kale and carrot or broccoli protein powder and natural peanut butter. ice and unsweetened vanilla soy milk. gets you some good vitamins and plenty of fiber. lost 15 lbs so far including excercise 2-3 times a week. it's important to drink plenty of water while fasting. take a drink when you feel hungry.

First day of a five day fast. It's a great way to break a weight (waistline) stall. Also lowers HbA1c if done once a month.

This is great advice, because I have been intermittent fasting and then eating everything I wanted, but apparently I was doing it wrong.

When I first heard of Jason fung I thought he was bonkers - I thought I'd die if I went 24 hours without food! (At that time I weighed 430lbs) my biggest problem with dieting was I was an emotional eater, I'd eat when I was sad, I'd eat when I was happy, I'd eat because someone else was eating, I'd eat because they weren't! The only time I didn't eat was when I was hungry - because I never reached that point! Now, I eat on average once every 7 days, and I think nothing of that! I weigh 270lbs but I no longer look at food as a problem, I eat *sometimes* but mostly, I don't need to, I still have plenty in reserve.
