If you have to keep leaving for them to appreciate you, then what you’re missing might be self love. Because essentially all you’re doing at that point is living for that relationship even though someone already let go.

Been there done that won’t go back to that.
It doesn’t mean that I never loved that person it just means, that eventually, I grew out of needing to sacrifice my happiness in order to be wanted.
