Regular Car Reviews: 1999 Toyota Corolla CE

In the engorged 1999 Dot-Com economy, this car was a high school graduation present. In 2016, the same car is still a graduation present.

When I was 18 I borrowed my friends Corolla to take my girlfriend to Steak N Shake on Christmas Eve to visit my friend, the cook. At the time I didnt have a license and my friends dad found out about it, got pissed and then made me bring the car back about 30 minutes into our "date"

I then got a hand job on the way home.

This is the most regular car ever assembled. Everything, from the manufacturer to the model name, interior and engine, all of it is so....regular.

I sold my 2003 Corolla passed down to me for my graduation back in 2010 to a dad buying a car for his son because the champ graduated from high school last year.

Own a 99 Corolla with 290k. I've been waiting for years to buy a new commuter car but this thing keeps going & going with just minimal maintenance. Once the wheels fall off I'm buying a band new 4runner with all the money I've saved.
