Hey Dr. Zadeh, I was hoping you could offer me some advise. I had a cheek filler today, and during the treatment of my left cheek I felt a pop/ping followed by immediate numbness and cold sensations going down to my left upper lip and left nostril. I quickly voiced this to the injector who then pressed on my skin in the area to check blood flow. The blood flow in my lip was very slow, and sensation was not returning, so I had to have it dissolved. It’s been 5 hours and blood flow to my upper lip is still slow. The injector didn’t seem competent at all, and infact had to get a colleague to help her mix the dissolver, so I’m concerned that she may not have addressed it properly.

Hi Dr, I recently got my lips done about a month and a half ago. Immediately after the procedure my bottom lip had white splotches on the lower corners on the lip. My injector told me it is nothing to worry about and could just be an allergic reaction to the lidocaine she used. It did go away after about two days. But about two weeks after now, I’m noticing the lower part of my bottom lip has a paler color than usual. And in about the same spots the white splotches first appeared. I went back to her for a follow up appointment and she told me there is nothing to worry about but didn’t have an answer or an explanation as to what could have caused this to happen. I did not have this prior to my injection. It is extremely upsetting and very frustrating to not have an answer. I’m not sure what to do now as my injector is telling me not to worry, but doesn’t know why it’s happening. Please if there is any help or advice you can offer me.
