VO countdown: How soon after treatment can you spot a vascular occlusion?

Necrosis is every clinician's worse nightmare, so it's vital that we spot an occlusion as soon as possible. Having experienced a VO myself, and guided many clinicians through their own, I have a clear answer to the question of how quickly VOs can be spotted. I share it in this video.

Let me know if you have any other questions about filler complications and I can do more videos to help.

a story with blindness, what other doctor shared in some video, was really appalling..did the lady go blind immediately in the doctor's office? were the changes visible on the skin? or was she in pain? or did she feel nothing and just go blind? .. How is the solvent injected? does the affected vessel have to be affected again or is it enough to simply inject into the subcutaneous tissue? I still don't understand and no one talks about it

What happens if a vein bulges out with no signs of occlusion on top lip, after 3 days of filler, it becomes noticeable? I see some patients get veins popping out in forehead and cheeks as well. Doctors say it is due to compression of vein, and it goes away on its own and if not you can reverse with dissolving. How true is this? There is not much info on veins appearing more noticeable on place of filler.

Hi Dr Pearce, I recently got my lips done about a month and a half ago. Immediately after the procedure my bottom lip had white splotches on the lower corners on the lip. My injector told me it is nothing to worry about and could just be an allergic reaction to the lidocaine she used. About two weeks after now, I’m noticing the lower part of my bottom lip has a paler color than usual. I went back to her for a follow up appointment and she told me there is nothing to worry about but didn’t have an answer or an explanation as to what could have caused this to happen. I did not have this prior to my injection. It is extremely upsetting and very frustrating to not have an answer. I’m not sure what to do now as my injector is telling me not to worry, but doesn’t know why it’s happening. Please if there is any help or advice you can offer me.
