Americans showed the Spaniards, and especially the world of their resiliency and courage. Regardless of their little numbers, they fought in the face of death. This is a show of patriotism and a bit of nationalism if you look at it from either perspective. In modern day terms, we call it "American heroism". Great video, thanks for posting this

It's pretty cool that William Travis was only 26 years old when he was given command of forces at the Alamo. He was truly an incredible hero, his "Declaration of Defiance" is a must read for anyone interested in U.S. History!
