The post-mortem revealed she was throttled, smothered, and suffered severe genital injuries. Sanjay Roy, a civic volunteer with hospital access, has been arrested. The case has triggered nationwide protests by medical professionals. West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee has given the police until August 18 to resolve the case or face CBI intervention.

The staff of the hospital refused Euthanasia and very lovingly took care of her as a family member. But the culprit was out of Jail after 7 years (exactly 1/6 th of the time she was trapped in her lifeless body), went ahead, got married, had children and lived quite a good life 😡
