Learning From Your Mistakes - Motivational Video

Whenever someone has a problem they always question why. Why did this happen to me? How do I get out of this situation. Why is this MY luck? As if they are the first person to ever have this problem. And I feel for you. Problems suck. I’ve had my fair share of problems in my life. But I have a wake up call for you. You’re not special.

No matter how bad the situation is: You’re in debt, you fail a class, get fired from a job, get divorced. Somebody else has been there before. And that’s a good thing. It’s good because that means a solution already exists. You’re just not looking in the right places for the answer.

It’s because you’re thinking with your emotions. Panic. Fear. Discontent. That’s what you feel in the moment, but it’s not how you feel when you solve a problem. You need to detach your emotions from the problem.

And then start researching. There’s always a way out. If it’s a money problem there’s ways to find money. If you fail at an interview or a test, there will be another opportunity.

You have to be able to let go. You can’t hold grudges with people. And you especially can’t hold grudges with yourself. Beating yourself up for something negative that’s already been done. It’s nonsense. There’s no way to change the past. Well unless you have a time machine, but I have yet to find one of those.

Now when you forget, you forget the emotion and the mistake. But you don’t forget the lesson. Because every mistake is a lesson. The bigger the cost the bigger the lesson. I read a business consulting book a while back. And in the book the author wrote about a time someone asked him if they would fire a good employee who made a one time mistake that costs the company $10,000. He responded, “No. Why would I fire him? I just spent $10,000 training him”.

Some mistakes are expensive and you’ll just have to live with that. But I can guarantee you if you make a $10,000 mistake like our friend in the anecdote, you won’t make it again. There’s some things in life that are under your control and there’s somethings that just aren’t. For the things that aren’t under control, just let them run their course.

You know I rarely argue with people. You know why? Because you’re not going to change their mind, especially if they are set in their ways. I let them talk out their anger or discontent.

You know what’s even better than learning from your mistakes? Not making them in the first place. I’m careful about almost everything in life. I’m careful about the types of people I surround myself with. I’m careful about what I spend money on. Because sometimes these things lead to problems. They seem like small problems at first, but they can quickly escalate to big problems.

You’ll figure it out. I just hope you have a chance to learn from your mistakes and the mistakes of others that came before you. As you are learning from your mistakes, subscribe to the endless motivation channel for more motivational videos.

If we accept the mistake, and correct it, that is called progressive life. Progressive life is to accept that I made a mistake and to try not to repeat it again and improve in the area that we make a mistake." - Gaur Gopal Das

I once made a mistake for trying to break in my neighbors house the next day the owner gathered all the renters and discussed if who tried to break in. My heart beats so fast since I know they were talking about me. It's been 2 years now I have never been caught by the police but the guilt is still burning inside me ...I really do regret that mistake and never did it again i now want to clean my name once again

I have always been a watcher of people I watch them make mistakes so I don't have to learn from other people screwing up it can improve your life you know what not to do if it didn't work for them it's more than likely not going to work for you it has been a lifelong process of watching humans fail in progress but we continue to fail and progress in the same manners over and over learn from other people's mistakes so you do not repeat them

Yes you can’t just be born to do everything you need to challenge yourself and you will make a lot of mistakes.
Life without challenges and mistakes will be boring.

When you make a mistake, do you accept responsibility, learn from it, and move on.

I know I have learned from my mistake. I made a worker feel bad about his. I’m a high-ranking chef at a university and I was told by an employee that her coworker (let's call him Will) had been touching crew members too much. Not _that_ type of touch, just casual ones, like on arms or shoulders. He was always very outgoing and tactile at work. I took him to my colleague’s office and told him he shouldn't touch anyone without consent. Just handshakes. I said we needed the workers to be comfortable in a good work environment, that he pretty much shouldn't talk about anything other than work and school. How he shouldn't tell his stories because they may be inappropriate to some degree to the other workers; funny to him only. I think he’s about 25. He seemed pretty quiet and uncomfortable during my speech. Answered a question or two with a nod and headshake.

*(Warning: Graphic Content)* That night, Will got shot by a woman, who said "Your time is up. This is for your unfiltered joke yesterday. HeII, this is for _everyone_ who knows you. Nobody WANTS you. You deserve to DlE!" And then she stuck a knife into his stomach. *Luckily* the police arrived to arrest her and save Will. He was treated at the hospital _just_ in time. But...what if he wasn't? What if our *_last_* moment was in the office? Yes, I needed to address his behavioral "issue, " but I should've been more respectful. More filter, less touching at work? Yeah, but compromise would've been fine. Like, only touching friendly coworkers he gets along great with. It's perfectly natural to causally touch or tap people *without* it being creepy. Will never meant to be that word. He just needed some limits, not all or nothing. I should’ve shown more patience and only given him a very brief and gentle talk in the hall, not a *firm lecture in the office* with his *boss present.* And I shouldn’t have asked her if there anything she wanted to add. So insensitive. Will never meant any discomfort or harm. He only meant to have fun with his coworkers. I made him feel bad, and the assaiIant made it much worse. I have to apologize to him whenever I can, for mishandling the situation. His assauIt is the only thing that made realize what was right.

So what you do in the Suburb/CBD system post Henry Miller (I guess) is fill the Wine basements with hard-as-a-rock-concrete, yet prior to that you need Graham Priest's Jars of Marmelade. Cool...?
