In this video, I'll show you step by step how to install Android Auto on the latest Huawei smartphones with EMUI 14. Many of you have asked me how to use Android Auto on the latest Huawei devices and I have found a simple solution for you.
Step-by-step instructions:
1. install Aurora Store:
- Open the Huawei App Gallery.
- Search for the Aurora Store, download and install it.
- Sign in with a Google account.
2. download required apps:
- Download the following apps from the Aurora Store:
- Speech Recognition & Synthesis
- Google Assistant
- Google App
- Google Maps
- Android Auto
3. grant authorisations:
- Google Maps: Access to your location
- Google Assistant and Speech Recognition & Synthesis: Access to your microphone
- Android Auto: Access to location, microphone, phone and notifications
- In Android Auto, also allow "Nearby devices" under "Other permissions"
4. start Android Auto:
- Once all permissions are granted, Android Auto will start automatically when you connect your smartphone to the car.
