My xfinity wifi lagged 10 times during the vid yea it’s “good” day

My family has Xfinity but it’s wired all the way in their room, and my room is on the opposite side of the house. That whole side of the house has a good connection and the other side of the house (living room, kitchen, my room) have absolutely terrible connection... I told my step dad that we should wire it to the center of the house ( living room) and he said that wouldn’t work. So I’m trying to convince him on letting me get my own line and I’ll pay cuz when I play video games it’s literally unplayable

i have xfinity internet and the speeds are really good but their tech support when calling about an issue are so stupid and annoying and dont even pay attention to what your telling them. Their prices are ok but not what i would consider really good. Overall xfinity isn't bad just have horrible customer support

I have spectrum and based on the comments I will never switch to xfinity internet. I had issues with my connection for gaming on my Xbox and pc. Ive learned that if you have you router closer to your gaming device than it won’t be as chopping it will be ass smooth and you will have great connections! I’m not sure if this is true for xfinity but give it a shot!

We have verizon shitternet DSL now. You'd be lucky to get 56kbps on a good day (or night)... May as well be dialup. Thinking of switching. Streaming is completely out of the question.

my xfinity modem is a dual 2.4ghz & 5ghz when i ordered 150 mbps plan. unfortunately, you only get high speed with 5ghz. my tv and laptop have 2.4 only, so i only get about 50 mbps. even my firestick says its 5 ghz, but when i'm streaming, the 2.4 light is what is flashing. its no use to pay extra if you only have 2.4 devices
