Maddie WINS in the TEEN Division! (Season 5 Flashback) | Dance Moms

To Abby’s surprise, Maddie and Kendall compete their solos, “She’s History” and “Clueless” in the teen division, but Maddie still manages to come out on top in this flashback from Season 5, Episode 4, “Bye Bye Pittsburgh.”

How rude. She was done talking when Jojo asked a question. She took her anger out on an innocent child. Abby was mentally abusive to those girls & the mothers.

Kendall looks so cute doing musical theater! Wish she had more of those types of dances during the show. Also, Maddie’s technique was beautiful in this solo.

Can we appreciate how impressive it was for kendall to get 3rd when being 11 in the 12-14 category and doing musical theatre? Yeah maddie was amazing and got 1st and that's also really impressive but she had a competive style of dance with technical moves which made her piece more competitive whilst kendall had more of a performance piece.

Kendall looked great in her solo and you can tell she liked it too, she probably would’ve placed better in the junior category

I think that the clueless dance suited Kendall so well. She is very good at playing that kind of mean girl vibe (not saying that either she or Cher were a mean girl)

I love how Abby is freaking out because her precious Maddie is in the teen division with the big girls and not in the juniors, and she's worried about Maddie RUINING her reputation....and yet, Maddie goes out there like the beautiful, strong professional dancer that she is and WINS in the teen division against girls who are YEARS older than she is, and who have had MUCH more dance experience.

Nice try producers, the first one was an audio clip from Season 4 when Jill said that Studio Blu danced amazing and the other one was from when Kendall performed Maddie’s fool me once solo in Season 4 and placed second

i hated competing 12-14 when i was 12! it was so intimidating. one competition was 12-16, and we all were competing against the senior company and just knew we had no chance. its amazing maddie still won😭
