Here's are some VITAL tips for beginners - compare both images you wish to faceswap beforehand. Make sure BOTH vertical and horizontal face perspective is the same or very close. This will ensure that that final result looks more believable. Next, try to find images with clear faces without hair or any other objects interfering if possible. Lastly, resolution mustn't differ - using a low quality face to replace in a high quality photo will ruin final composition.

I will use this technique on restoring 100 yr old family photos where the face my ancestor has melted onto the glass of a tintype. I will replace the face around his age when the tintype was taken.
