I totally agree with you. Leica q2 makes me feel like a professional. Feels so good to shoot, hold and own. I purchased brand new and have hefty credit card bill to pay for my Leica q2 but am still happy to own one.

Very well said and totally agree! The Leica Q lineup is a good balance, at least in the Leica world :D
Unfortunately the Q line didn't convince me to only own that one camera (which I hoped it would, since I sold all my Canon and Sony gear for one Q2 back then). On the contrary it opened the gate to the M system, which seems to happen to a lot of people playing around with the Leica Q line :)
I truely don't need multiple M cameras, but I love the rangefinder experience and somehow I developed and interest of collection some of these M cameras...latest purchases of mine are an M3 and M8 ... can't help my G.A.S. currently :D
Awesome work as always man!

Leica really is the Giga-Chad of cameras. I have a Leica Q2 Monochrom and a Leica Q3. They're widely addicting and nothing else is like it.

Good vid btw, Brother.

I had the Q2 and then bought the X100VI to replace it ... but ended up selling the X100VI instead.

I loved both for their strengths. But made the decision by asking "What would I regret MORE, selling the Q2 or selling the X100VI?" Then it was an easy answer. 😉

I Totally agree with you. The 28 mm was a challenge for me, but the crop modes allowed me to grow with the full 28 mm step-by-step.
What kind of filter do you use in front of your lens?

I’m not sure macro is “amazing” any more as most cameras are able to get macro close. The Ricoh GR, for example. The iPhone. Etc.

Agree that the Q series is awesome and lovable.

I purchased a Q2 a few months ago myself, after doing a lot of research. The form factor, build and simplicity is what got me. So far I love the images that come out it. Big files, but a lot of detail in them. And it does feel like an experience when shooting with it. I grabbed a PolarPro Everyday filter for it, but I just haven’t gotten use to it. Are you using any filters on your camera, like a polarizer or mist? For now I’m just gonna stick with the UV II filter from Leica on mine.

Do you get the crop frame lines in the viewfinder?

I LOVE the Q2. So much so I bought a second. A monochrome. They're wonderful. Definitely a gateway drug to the rest of the Leica Lineup. But if I had to only pick one camera to fall back on if I had to give up the rest of mine I'd go with the Q2

I double dare you to review the x100vi :P

It’s the nicest camera I have ever owned, but man do I hate how easily it blows highlights! I forces me to underexpose everything which requires a decent amount of editing for every shot.
