Got my original x100 back 13-14 years ago. Recently pre ordered x100 vi since the changes from than to now is much greater than to x100v to x100vi. Looking forward to now with updated recipes and filter on the newer x100 series has which my original x100 didn’t.

Did you shoot with the Polarpro Shortstache Everyday filter most of the time? I know you’re losing a few stops of light with the filter (and I don’t mind bumping up the ISO with some noise), but were you using the filter in low light environments?

Little bit anxious as I have the 100VI also: is the build quality bad especially the painting? I notice that on your both cameras the paint is coming off and lot of scratches.

Do you find the fairly authentic film vibe from the X100V is affected at all by having a 40MP sensor in the VI? Larger and/or sharper photos tend not to look as film-like I find

Cropping not unique to the VI: On the x100F and x100v digital zoom is also possible in JPG mode. It works good by using upscaling and looks pretty decent.

Fuji X100v also has the crop sensor. I had one and it was very funny because nobody belive it

Every new fuji camara have worst materials. Stay with de 100V brother. Stay strong, is not the cam, its the eye. Peacem

Id love if they took this design, swapped the OVF for an EVF and gave it a zoom lens (with a macro switch) like f/2.8 18-100mm full frame equivalent lens and everything else leave the exact same as the X100 VI… it would be so versatile
