I love how this Haka started off with about 15 students, then suddenly grew to like 50+ students! The Haka really looks to be a wonderful way for people to express themselves in a most positive outlet and way.

Knowing what the haka represents to the Maori, this is the highest honour. I am in tears

That's actually a really healthy way to deal with mourning emotions, especially for young people. ❤

The only settler country that has truly assimilated their native culture and gained culturally and in many other ways. Truly admirable and a lesson to others.

I am particularly move by these kids - this is a message of defiance, of solidarity against the incitement of hate. They are New Zealanders and they will live as they wish - with harmony and respect for one another. This message gives me hope! thank you.

and because of what it is and what they're doing it for, you see more and more students joining it. The channeling of their grief into something so beautiful and unifying is amazing and... moving me to tears.

I got so emotional. The unity and feelings into this Haka was amazing! It transcended. My sympathy to the victims family.

I didn't tear up when they did the haka, it was after when they started hugging each other. It's the feeling of relief of getting the emotions off their shoulders and them hugging each other to say "you did it" that got me
