Usually when there is a pressure on the nerves, that is the L5 or S1 nerve roots, there is pressure and that produces tingling or numbness. Usually ti is because of disc prolapse. they press upon nerve roots. when pressure is too much, or if there is pressure on cervical or thoracic region. It can be because of diabetic neuropathy.
