@Copwatchtv obtained body camera footage of a Norcross, Georgia Police department officers investigation of a fake cop at a construction site.

The man they encountered had a full police uniform and credentials. A few calls to the department he "allegedly" worked for showed he was NOT a police officer.

The featured content is NOT intended to be violent nor glorify violence in any way. We are sharing this footage STRICTLY for the purposes of news reporting and education.

If you think this is the "World's Most Fake Cop" then clearly you've never met good ol' "Jeremy" 😂

To his credit, he never asked for a lieutenant or repeatedly said sergeant.

He's terminated but still working for free. The man is dedicated to his job.

You almost want to feel bad for the guy. Just before they put him in cuffs he’s says “I’m just doing what I can to live”, and I feel like that’s the one honest thing he did say.

Doesn’t look like he’s out getting off on stopping people for a power trip. He’s directing traffic- not exactly a big ego booster.

It’s unfortunate that these officers don’t recognize the incredible service this man is doing for his community. However, provided he can 50/50 an intersection and figure it out real fast, I think metro state would hire him as a state certified funeral escort officer.

When he said "as of 10 days ago ur not a cop" i knew this didnt live up to the hype as all the other impersonators

Couple of things: 1 he said he was a reserve officer which would mean he worked a few hours a month as an on-duty officer to keeps his police commission. 2 He still had all of his department issued gear, including uniforms, gun and police commission, which the department will usually confiscate when they fire an officer. 3. off-duty security details for officers are typically arranged weeks in advance, so in theory this job could been set up long before he was terminated. 4. How was he terminated but still retained all of the department issued items? At the very least his department would have confiscated the gun, badge, and police ID immediately upon termination. 5 something about the "he was fired a week ago" story is odd. If he was telling the truth about working reserve then maybe he hadn't worked on-duty for over a week and never knew he was fired, and the agency never got a hold of him to tell him to turn in his stuff, so he's out there carrying on business as usual.

So he actually work for the PD at one point?! He’s got to be the closest to actually being a cop than all the other Police Impersonator videos
Edit: Yes, I know about the fake Fed video, cop watch just uploaded it about a month ago, my comment is 4 months old. Relax people.

This is an odd one. He really had been a certified police officer. When I separated from the military I didn't know what to do with myself for a little while. My identity had to radically change, and some people, like this guy, handle it poorly.

Jeremy would’ve been cussing everyone out for not yielding to his direction 😂😂

That part where the officer said "their reviews are better than ours" had me laughing 😂😂😂😂

Police impersonators and drunk government officials are the best videos.

This guy could simply be having a hard time move on from his former profession

If I had to guess, this ‘fake cop’ is probably keeping that intersection and construction crew safer than the real cops lol

The dept doesn’t take the uniform and police ID back when they fire an officer?
If not, that’s disturbing 😳

I worked traffic for a number of years. We had police officers doing traffic. This seems to be not a fake cop. He was a real certified officer, but he is no longer employed. Big ish difference.

He seems like a guy who has let his financial situation get really tight. He lost his job as a reserve officer, and used his ID and badge etc to get this job. It seems to be strictly for the money. I kinda feel for him. The finances are probably self inflicted problems, but from what I am seeing he just wanted a paycheck, not the worst thing in the world. Illegal, but to me understandable, as long as he doesn't keep trying to do this.

Any Lawyer worth his wait in salt could beat this impersonating a police charge especially if he still has his certification.

I actually feel bad for this guy. He was just let go, and probably feels lost. Kinda sad... but I get it.
