Build Power Apps with Multiple Dataverse Tables and Relationships Using Copilot

Get started with building Power Apps by using Copilot to assist in creating multiple Microsoft Dataverse tables and relationships via a new GUI-like experience. Start by describing your app needs to Copilot, and it will build a multi-table structure from natural language input or from Excel or SharePoint data. Create table relationships in an entity relationship diagram (ERD) like GUI, and Copilot will then build a Power App with a screen for each table in your defined multi-table data workspace.

Learn how to use Copilot to create and update Dataverse tables, describe your app's use case in natural language, and watch as Copilot transforms it into a complete Power App. This tutorial in Power Apps covers the concepts of how Copilot will be available throughout your app-building journey, from creating tables to building and editing apps, to writing and explaining formulas, to using Copilot answer control, and more.

Makers will be able to create tables from scratch using various data sources including Excel files, SharePoint lists, or conversation with the assistance of copilot in the new data model visual editor. Multiple tables can be created at the same time with relationships set up leveraging smart inference capability of copilot. Created tables and relationships will be visualized in ERD (entity relationship diagram) view to help makers better understand the data model. Makers can also invoke copilot inline to create new tables, update schema, or seek for suggestions to improve their data model.

This is an excellent video. The improvements that Copilot adds to the development of PowerApps is incredible, and it's just the beginning. Thanks for always bringing the latest information to us in a comprehensive manner. Please keep up the EXCELLENT work you do.

All I can say is Whao, Whao!!! The ERD particularly is really incredible as that is one area of challenge when it comes to building truly scalable Apps. They've really made and are still making app building manageable with the injections of Copilot's assistance. throughout. Thanks for show casing this brilliantly. Looking forward to using these features in projects soon. 😃😃

If i want to change the Entity Relationship Diagram (Data Workspace) at a later date after creating the app, how do i get back to the same view you show at:

What a fantastic demo of this brilliant functionality, thanks Reza. Such a shame my company is too 'cheap' to give us Dataverse 😥

Awesome! how do we get hold of this feature?! - I've still only got access to single table co-pilot app creation so far. The ERD interface to create tables looks ideal!

Hi Reza, If wants to create a field in the reservation table called "Support officer" which will be a dropdown list where i can see all office 365 account holder list. How we can do in new tables. I used to do this in SharePoint list easily.

Wow! That's awesome! I had no idea Copilot was this useful in app development. Since I'm new to the Power Platform and need to learn these tools for my company to build an app, should I rely on Copilot, or should I learn the basics of Power Fx? Please let me know. Thanks!

TNX for the nice video, do you have any idea when this feature is comming live?

Does this feature need to be activated somewhere, as I've tried using the same prompt, and it doesn't produce the same screen? It also only produced one table, Hotel Reservations, as opposed to the video's example which includes the three others.

Are you able to create an ER model without using copilot for each app you build?
