I’m glad my old boss/mentor isn’t around to see this… he was a very prominent Lawyer for energy companies here in Dallas, Tx, and was a Jaguar ambassador, from the moment he made a any decent amount of money he bought a brand new 1966 Jaguar MKX, All white with black interior, had it in his garage til the day he died, along side 9 other Jaguars, he went to England 2 or 3 times to pick up his to spec cars, a 94 XJS, a 03 XKR Special Edition, and a 08 XJR if I remember correctly. Had other vintages too like a 69 XKE, not the sought after E-Type, but still a damn beautiful car.
Miss him and seeing how happy he got even talking about those cars, or his plans with his wife and kids and he’d be excited for the trip since he convinced his wife to drive 7 hours instead of fly for 2 1/2😂

I paid $45 to drive 1.4 miles! It was a Telsa, I had to ask how to open the door, FIND the seatbelt, (told driver NOT to start, until I had my seatbelt on!) I asked the driver to turn on the headlamp, so I could SEE what I doing, driver turns on mood lighting in flashy colors instead. He decided at 2am to go hands off. NOT IMPRESSED. I spoke in his native tongue to put his hands on the wheel and NOT his phone! Last I checked, I only used auto-pilot when flying for short times.
My VERY LAST Uber ride, I’m going home from the dentist, and wasn’t feeling my best. He had an old Yukon, it’s 55F and all windows open, skylight open. I asked him to please roll up the windows, please. He rolled the one next to me only. Instead of taking the most direct and shortest way, he drove on the interstate, windows still open and I feel like my ears will explode!. When I asked him about the route, he said he had” strict guidelines from Uber’s gps to get me to my home! We past my house TWICE using “his” route. Then gave me a business card for his 24/7 Taxi Service. No thanks. Ripping folks off by driving 8 miles for a 1.2 mile trip, NOT putting up windows for customer’s request and the gangway music? Had the nerve for a CASH TIP now, so he could buy lunch. I told him to not play in the highway! Did I mention I had just had a root canal?

Not sure why Jaguar would waste their money on such nonsense. All these commercials do is make your company lose money not gain, but some people just never learn….There is so much stupidity in this world is actually scary.
