Traditionally Jaguar's customer base were stodgy old men. If Jaguar thinks it can attract the generation that goes for this kind advertising they have a rude awakening coming.

You build a wordwide brand over 90 years,
and then destroy it in under 90 seconds.

Well done, Jaguar, outstanding work. 🙃

This commercial looks more like another Olympic Games opening ceremony! 😂

RIP Jaguar. Their sales have been declining forever already, this may just be the nail in the coffin.

No one in that commercial looks like they could afford a Jaguar.

Actually the commercial looks like one of the new Disney movies that try to push an agenda rather than entertain.

Wtf does this have to do with a car? I'd fire the whole marketing division.

They aren't deleting ordinary. They're deleting Jaguar.

Fun fact: They used the ones who didn't make it to the Olympic's opening ceremony.

In the 80's-90's, the Jag was considered a car a sophisticated, elegant person, male or female, would drive. I would have bought one if I'd had the money at the time. Through the years, I almost bought one just for the fun and nostalgia of it....that I could afford one, including the notoriously expensive repair costs. This ad will put me off buying a Jaguar FOREVER.

You know what makes me sick about this... The thousands of decent hard-working people who work in the factories, distribution, dealerships etc who are likely going to lose their jobs when Jaguar fold as a result of this complete disaster. You know some liberal-minded ad agency, with absolutely no grasp (or care) of who Jaguar's customers are and the historical brand image, sat around a table with DEI consultants and just put together what THEY wanted to make with a view to spreading their own ideologies. The self-importance and arrogance is mind-blowing.

I just don't understand how the people at the very top of these companies watch a presentation like this and sign off on it. For Jaguar products to be a success they must reach out to existing customers... Who are mostly middle-age or retired men with conservative values and an appreciation for classy, elegant, luxury products with heritage. This campaign reaches out to activist-minded liberal weirdos who lurk around coffee shops and can barely afford their phone bill each month.

These people live in a bubble and it's like Bud Light never happened. This entire campaign was obviously made before the recent US election, and the moment those results came in, with an complete rejection of identity politics, someone should have pulled this immediately.
They possibly have 24 hours to cancel it and apologise for a complete mis-calculation or that brand is done.

What I would love to know... Were Jaguar planning to show this ad in China (the biggest EV market in the world) or the Middle East? I bet they f**king weren't.

Bud Light: "Let's make the worst marketing decision ever"
Jaguar: "Hold my car"

Someone at Jaguar whilst on the toilet, ate an old iPod, smoked some White Widow, and shat out that commercial.

Lmao. Jaguar must have hired BCG as a consultation company. Their job is to go in and help expedite the process of driving a business into bankruptcy in order to line the pockets of short hedge fund managers. 😂

First they go all EV, then halt production for a year when no one buys anything they sell and end up with over a years worth of sales on dealer lots, now this. This is someone killing a brand on purpose.
