I use mine often. I haven’t had any issues with lag. It’s actually really cool. Road trips, hotels, anywhere with wifi. I havent thought twice about buying it!

As someone who just got a portal ive had zero stuttering or latency issues. Its actually ran very well.

PS portal has always been good.
Never had any issue with it. Games work flawlessly on it when im traveling.
If you have issues, its your network set up, not a problem with Sony or Playstation

I’ve been using the cloud gaming on my portal with both WiFi and hotspot while out and haven’t had this sort of an issue with stuttering etc. even on things like GTA, it’s actually at points while out at least been a better experience cloud gaming rather than connect to my PS5 even thought I have a really good connection. I think the stuttering etc that has just been shown is most likely an issue on there end and not to do with the portal’s cloud gaming.

This thing is the best thing I’ve bought this year, it’s so useful for travel, I’ve used it for that specifically and for what I can tell, the wifi does matter

Your wifi connection is everything when it comes to a proper portal experience. Some may even have to go into their routers settings and play with some changes, or perhaps consider upgrading their setup to a mesh of some sort, but it’s totally worth it IMO.
