Picked up two great new tools for the shop, and I'm happy to say both work great! The old air line at the shop was restricted somehow and caused very low output. This cured all that, and the Orange color looks cool too!
The 1/2 inch impact is as good or better than the HF Earthquake. Light, quite, and powerful, plus it comes with the impact sockets and extension to boot!

Good morning everyone.
I like the retractable air hose. Good idea 👍

Always fully lubricate to the point of slobbering when you buy a new air tool. The only oil they put in it is just for anti-rust anti-corrosion during shipping just like the faint smear of Grease they put in your U-joint LOL the reason I say to the point of slobbering is because you're going to make it run super oiled to help flush out any metal shavings or flakes or powder left from Manufacturing.

My first impact gun was the IR 231. I used it for several years then traided it for a Mac tools 454 impact. Then I changed positions and had little use for a half inch impact. I still have the Mac tools gun. I figured it's paid for and I never know when I will need it. That being said I think the new battery impacts have more power and I don't need to wait for the air compressor to build pressure to use them. Having an air hose reel would be nice. I miss having oil on tap with a hose real. Especially the one that you set how many quarts you want and it shuts off automatically. I just wish I could do the stuff like I use to.
